Located in Brisbane's Spring Hill, I offer psychological therapy to adults. My professional background is in Clinical Psychology, and I am a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and a registered provider for Medicare. Alongside my private psychotherapy clinic, I supervise psychotherapists interested in psychodynamic psychotherapy, teach in the Master of Mental Health program at the University of Queensland, and hold a senior role in the public sector as a Clinical Psychologist with the Child & Youth Mental Health Service.

​People seek psychotherapy for many reasons, each carrying a distinct constellation of experiences — their history, desires, values, hopes, disappointments, and suffering. Some arrive because challenges are affecting their well-being or daily functioning; others come after trying many avenues, or because an awareness grows that things cannot stay as they are. Whatever the reason (or diagnosis), these experiences are deeply personal.

 

My approach to working with you is grounded in careful listening —attuning to your unique reasons for seeking therapy while recognizing your singularity, history, cultural influences, and personal preferences.​​ I integrate clinical research and insights to support your unique needs.

•    Completing Theoretical and Clinical Studies in Psychoanalysis with the Australian Centre for Psychoanalysis.
